Chaotropes, Protein Denaturants


	Chaotropes such as urea or guanidine hydrochloride disrupt water interactions and help solubilize hydrophobic proteins and peptides. They also act as general protein denaturants, unfolding proteins and altering their three-dimensional structure.

8 M Guanidine"HCl Solution and Guanidine·HCl


	Particulate free, crystal clear, colorless solution of guanidine hydrochloride with excellent stability. Can be used for washing affinity ligand columns (non-protein ligands), solubilizing inclusion bodies, and other peptide/protein analysis methods.


	A low UV absorbing protein denaturant.
