Biotin Labeling of Antibodies and Other Proteins
A full range of biotinylation reagents to target a variety of functional groups for specific labeling of proteins, peptides and other biomolecules.

Biotinylation Reagent Selection Guide
Choose the right biotin labeling reagent to label your protein by using our Biotinylation Reagent Selection Guide

Biotinylation Reagents - Amine Reactive
Specifically label primary amines (lysine and N-terminus) with biotin, the most common reactive groups found on the surface of proteins.

Biotinylation Reagents - Carbohydrate Reactive
Specifically biotinylate carbohydrate modifications on glycoproteins. This method is advantageous for labeling antibodies because the biotin is attached to the Fc region and immunoreactivity is not comprimised.

Biotinylation Reagents - Carboxyl Reactive
Use EDC cross-linking to attach these amine-containing biotin labeling reagents to carboxyl groups found on aspartic- and glutamic-acid residues and at the c-terminus.

Biotinylation Reagents - Specialty Reagents
Photoreactive and other specialty reagents help you biotin label proteins, nucleic acids or organic molecules that don't have a readily available functional group.

Biotinylation Reagents - Sulfhydryl Reactive
Specifically attaching a biotin label to sulfhydryl groups can aid in preserving the biological activity of many proteins.

Pierce Cell Surface Protein Isolation Kit
The Pierce Cell Surface Protein Isolation Kit provides a simple and efficient method to specifically label and purify cell surface proteins for western blot analysis.

Quantitation of Biotin
Simple and accurate methods to determine the amount of biotin attached to proteins or other biomolecules following biotinylation.
