Acylation Reagents


	Acylation is the conversion of compounds that contain active hydrogens (e.g., -OH, -SH and -NH) into esters, thioesters and amides, respectively, through the action of a carboxylic acid or a carboxylic acid derivative.


	Trifluoroacetylates primary and secondary amines, as well as hydroxyl and thiol groups under mild nonacidic conditions.

Perfluoro Acid Anhydrides


	High purity reagents, ideal for preparing fluoroacyl derivatives for GC/MS. <

Perfluoroacylimidazoles


	Advantageous over the anhydrides for the perparation of perfluoroacyl derivatives; the reactions are smooth, quantitative and produce no acid byproducts that must be removed from the system before infection.
