Antibody Fragmentation


	Selectively cleave immunoglobulin molecules into Fab, Fab', F(ab')2 and Fc fragments. Pierce Antibody Fragmentation Kits use immobilized papain, pepsin or ficin to avoid protease contamination and provide precise control of the digestion process.


	Digest human or mouse IgG antibodies to make separate Fab and Fc fragments. Kits use immobilized papain and include Protein A spin columns to separate the two types of immunoglobulin fragments.


	Digest whole human and other IgG antibodies to make F(ab')2 fragments that retain antigen binding activity. Kits use immobilized pepsin, allowing for efficient digestion without protease contamination.


	Efficiently digest mouse IgG1 into Fab or F(ab')2 fragments using Immobilized Ficin. Provides better cleavage and fragment activity for mouse IgG1 than pepsin. Make either Fab or F(ab')2, and purify them from the Fc fragments.


	Make better use of whole IgM antibodies by using this kit to create immunoreactive "Fab" or "IgG"-sized antibody fragments. Kit includes immobilized trypsin and pepsin to easily generate a variety of specific IgM fragments.
