Human IFN alpha ELISA Kit (Multi-Subtype)

Microplate sandwich ELISA kits for multiple subtypes of human interferon alpha (IFN-alpha).

VeriKine Human IFN alpha Multi-Subtype ELISA Kits

Assay IFN-α (14 out of 15 identified subtypes of human interferon alpha) levels in human cell culture media with these VeriKine* Human IFN alpha ELISA Kits (Multi-Subtype).

These human IFN alpha ELISA kits use pre-titered, matched pairs of coating and detection antibodies to accurately measure interferon alpha (IFN-α) in samples at 100μL per well. These IFN-α kits are validated for use with human cell and tissue culture media and are optimized for both high-sensitivity and extended assay ranges. Also included are calibrated recombinant protein standard, TMB substrate solution and stop solution. The complete kits contain pre-coated 96-well plate(s) and lot-optimized reagents. All components undergo quality control testing to minimize lot-to-lot variability.

Highlights:

  • Target: 14 of 15 subtypes of human interferon alpha (IFN-alpha): IFN-αA, IFN-α2, IFN-αD, IFN-αB2, IFN-αC, IFN-αG, IFN-αH, IFN-αI, IFN-αJ1, IFN-αK, IFN-α1, IFN-α4a, IFN-α4b, and IFN-αWA
  • Format: colorimetric ELISA (TMB substrate) in clear 96-well plate
  • Measurement: absorbance at 450nm
  • Assay Range: 12.5 to 500pg/mL (high sensitivity); 156 to 5000pg/mL (extended range)
  • Sensitivity: undetermined
  • Precision: intra-assay CV ≤ 8%; inter-assay CV ≤ 8%
  • Sample Types: cell culture supernatant, tissue culture media
  • Total Assay Time: 3.25 hours
  • Sample Size: 100μL
  • Specificity: no significant cross-reaction with human IFN-β, IFN-γ, or IFN-ω; mouse or rat IFN-α, IFN-β, or IFN-γ; bovine IFN-τ.
