HIF-1 alpha ELISA Kits

New ELISA kits for HIF-1 alpha

By Douglas Hayworth

Now you can measure HIF-1 alpha (hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha) levels in serum, plasma, and culture supernatant samples with our new Thermo Scientific HIF-1 alpha ELISA Kits.

These HIF-1 alpha ELISA kits use pre-titered, matched pairs of coating and detection antibodies to achieve sensitive and accurate measurement of hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF1A, also called BHLHE78, MOP1, PASD8) in samples at 50 to 100μL per well. Also included are calibrated recombinant protein standard, streptavidin-HRP, TMB substrate solution and stop solution. The complete kits contain precoated 96-well strip plate(s) and lot-optimized reagents. The economically-priced reagent kit provides validated reagents only, requiring users to coat their own plates. All components undergo quality control testing to minimize lot-to-lot variability.

Highlights:

  • Target: natural and recombinant human hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF1A)
  • Format: colorimetric ELISA (TMB substrate) in clear 96-well strip plate
  • Measurement: absorbance at 450nm minus absorbance at 550nm
  • Assay Range: 81.92 to 20,000pg/mL
  • Sensitivity: < 30pg/mL
  • Precision: intra-assay CV < 10%; inter-assay CV < 10%
  • Sample Types: cell culture supernatant, urine, serum, plasma (EDTA, sodium citrate and heparin)
  • Total Assay Time: 3.5 hours
  • Sample Size: 50μL
  • Specificity: specific to human HIF-1A and shows cross-reactivity with mouse and rat HIF-1A.
