A new LDH Cytotoxicity Assay Kit
Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is a cytosolic enzyme present in many different types of cells and is released from the cell when the plasma membrane is damaged. The released LDH can be quantified by a coupled enzymatic reaction and used to measure the cytotoxicity of an experimental condition in cell culture-based experiments. LDH cytotoxicity assays are great when measuring the cytotoxicity of drug candidates, siRNA molecules, transfection reagents or any other application in which cell cytotoxicity needs to be measured.
