Protein Denaturants and Chaotropes

Chaotropic and denaturing chemical agents, including urea and guanidine hydrochloride, to disrupt water interactions and promote hydrophobic protein and peptide solubilization, elution, refolding and structural analysis.

Pure crystaline or ready-to-use 8M guanidium hydrochloride (GdnHCl, GuHCl) used as a denaturant for protein biology methods (elution, solubilization, refolding, storage).

Pure, crystalline urea (CH4N2O), CAS 57-13-6; denaturant with low UV-absorptivity for protein biology methods (elution, solubilization, refolding, storage).
