NHS-Pyridyldithiol Crosslinkers


Amine-to-sulfhydryl (lysine-to-cysteine) crosslinking reagents based on N-hydroxysuccinimide and pyridyldithiol reactive groups; disulfide bond renders the crosslink (spacer arm) cleavable with reducing agents.


Very long (54.1A) amine-to-sulfhydryl crosslinker; NHS-ester and pyridyldithiol groups at ends of 12-unit polyethylene glycol spacer arm; forms cleavable disulfide bonds; water-soluble. 

Long (25.7A) amine-to-sulfhydryl crosslinker; NHS-ester and pyridyldithiol groups at ends of 4-unit polyethylene glycol spacer arm; forms cleavable disulfide bonds; water-soluble. 

Popular, long (15.7A) amine-to-sulfhydryl crosslinker; sulfo-NHS-ester and pyridyldithiol groups at ends of 10-atom spacer arm; forms cleavable disulfide bonds with cysteines; water-soluble. 

Short (6.8A) and long (15.7A) amine-to-sulfhydryl crosslinker with NHS-ester and pyridyldithiol groups at ends of 3- and 10-atom spacer arm, respectively; forms cleavable disulfide bonds with cysteines.  

Mid-length (11.2A) amine-to-sulfhydryl crosslinker; NHS-ester and pyridyldithiol groups at ends of an aromatic, 6-atom spacer arm; forms cleavable disulfide bonds with cysteines.
