New product numbers for legacy Fermentas Products

Fermentas proteomics products will become part of the Thermo Scientific protein research product portfolio, with product numbers and packaging changing as indicated in the table below. Despite these changes, the manufacturing and quality control for these products will still reside with the same highly qualified scientists and trained technicians responsible for them previously. You may continue to order these products from your current distributor, but please use the new Thermo Scientific Pierce product numbers.

**New product numbers for legacy Fermentas products.** Many Fermentas proteomics products are now part of the Thermo Scientific Pierce Protein Research Products portfolio. We are still going to offer the Fermentas Protein Ladders and PageBlue Stain you've trusted for many years; however, effective June 15, 2011, you'll start to see them in Thermo Scientific packaging with different product numbers.

Replacement products for discontinued Fermentas Products

After evaluating both the Fermentas and Thermo Scientific Pierce product lines, we have decided to discontinue some Fermentas products for which there are Pierce product equivalents. Although the products listed in the table below will no longer be stocked, you can purchase Pierce equivalents from a Thermo Scientific distributor.
