The human IL-4 ELISA kits use pre-titered, matched pairs of coating and detection antibodies to achieve sensitive and accurate measurement of interleukin-4 (IL-4), also known as B-cell stimulatory factor 1 (BSF-1, BSF1) or B-cell growth factor 1 (BCGF-1, BCGF1), in samples at 50µL per well. Also included are calibrated recombinant protein standard, TMB substrate solution and stop solution. The complete kits contain pre-coated 96-well strip plate(s) and lot-optimized reagents. All components undergo quality control testing to minimize lot-to-lot variability.

The Thermo Scientific Human IL-4 ELISA Kit measures human interleukin-4 (hIL-4) in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. Produced by activated T-lymphocytes, hIL-4 (15-19kDa) is a glycosylated cytokine involved in the processes of hematopoiesis, allergic inflammation and antibody production. This ELISA kit uses a matched pair of monoclonal antibodies to capture and detect hIL-4 on 96-well plates. The detecting antibody is conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP), which reacts with the TMB substrate to form a colored product that is linear over the assay dynamic range and directly proportional to the amount of hIL-4 present in the sample.
