Detergents for Cell Lysis

High-purity, low-peroxide, surfactant solutions and detergent solids for use in cell lysis reagent formulation, protein solubilization procedures, wash buffers for ELISA, and other protein research methods.

Stabilized Brij-35 detergent provided as 10% and 30% solutions for use in various protein methods including cell lysis and HPLC.

Purified Brij-58 detergent that is stabilized and supplied as a 10% solution in 10mL glass ampules for protein research and molecular biology.

Nondenaturing zwitterionic detergent that disrupts nonspecific protein interactions with less protein aggregation than nonionic detergents.

Water-soluble, non-denaturing and nonionic detergent especially useful for solubilizing hydrophobic membrane proteins to preserve their activity.

Purified NP-40 detergent stabilized and supplied as a 10% solution in 10mL glass ampules or HDPE bottles; for cell lysis and other protein research applications.

Nonionic detergent widely used for membrane protein solubilization that is dialyzable but susceptible to beta-Glucosidase digestion (unlike OTG).

Low-MW nonionic detergent for cell lysis and nondenaturing protein solubilization that is resistant to beta-D-glucoside digestion (unlike Octyl-beta-glucoside).

Highly purified form of SDS especially suited for protein experiments requiring tightly controlled solubility parameters.

Standard-grade SDS detergent popular for routine protein electrophoresis and cell lysis methods.

Water-soluble, ionic detergent especially useful for liposome preparation, lipid isolation and preventing nonspecific binding in affinity chromatography.

Water-soluble, ionic detergent used in cell lysis buffers (e.g., RIPA buffer) to disrupt protein interactions for liposome and membrane protein isolation.

Convenient collection of various Surfact-Amps Detergent Solutions and other selected useful detergents for protein research methods.

Purified Triton X-100 detergent stabilized and supplied as a 10% solution in 10mL glass ampules or inert HDPE plastic bottles.

Purified nonionic Triton X-114 detergent stabilized and supplied as a 10% solution in 10mL glass ampules.

Purified nonionic Tween-20 detergent stabilized and supplied as a 10% solution in 10mL glass ampules or HDPE bottles; often added to PBS or TBS buffers.

Purified nonionic Tween-80 detergent stabilized and supplied as a 10% solution in 10mL glass ampules or HDPE bottles; often added to PBS or TBS buffers.
