Summary
Retinoblastoma (RB) is an embryonic malignant neoplasm of retinal origin. It almost always presents in early childhood and is often bilateral. Spontaneous regression ('cure') occurs in some cases.¹

Western blot data of siRNA transfection experiment. A549 cells were lysed 72 hours after transfection. Cells were transfected with Transfection Reagent alone (Lane 1), 100nM ON-TARGETplus siCONTROL Non-Targeting Pool (Lane 2), or 100nM ONTARGETplus RB1 siRNA (Lane 3). Western blot data for GAPDH is included as a control for equal protein loading.
