This page provides additional information and performance data for Thermo Scientific NAb Antibody Spin Columns and Kits. Several antibody purification resins (Protein A, Protein G, Protein A/G and Protein L) are available in the NAb Format as stand-alone columns or complete kits. These enable fast purification of IgG from host sera, ascites or tissue culture supernatant.
NAb Antibody Spin Columns are available in several package sizes for flexibility and convenience in spin, gravity-flow and automated purification procedures. The spin column format minimizes the time required to process sample and produce a purified antibody preparation. In addition, NAb Columns and Kits are also compatible with gravity-flow and vacuum-based purification methods. These affinity columns are reusable and can be regenerated at least 10 times without a significant loss of binding capacity.

Procedure summary for using Thermo Scientific NAb Spin Columns.
| Thermo Scientific NAb Spin Columns provide easy antibody purification in less than 30 minutes. Sera (approximately 60mg protein) from different hosts were applied to NAb Protein A, Protein G, Protein A/G and Protein L Spin Columns. For the spin format, samples were incubated with the resin for 10 minutes at room temperature by gentle end-over-end mixing. The resins were washed with 6ml of wash buffer and IgG eluted with 3ml (3 x 1ml) of elution buffer. Total time for the spin procedure was 19 minutes. For the gravity-flow column format (drip elution), the samples were allowed to flow slowly through the resin. The resins were washed with 15 ml of wash buffer and IgG eluted with 5 ml (5 x 1ml) of elution buffer. Total time for the drip procedure was 120 minutes. Pierce 3-Color Protein Molecular Weight Marker Mix (Product # 26691) was used to determine molecular weight. |
